Biography
Irena Rutkauskaite was a prominent Lithuanian and Estonian sculptor, whose life and work are closely connected with Estonia. She was born in Lithuania, but graduated from the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR (now the Estonian Academy of Arts) in Tallinn in 1959 under the supervision of Professor Enn Roos.
