Biography

Georgi Balabanov graduated from the National High School of Plastic Arts and Design "Acad. Dechko Uzunov" - Kazanlak (1989) and the Academy of Fine Arts - Skopje, North Macedonia (1995). Freelance artist with participation in local, national and international exhibitions. Author of a number of emblematic sculptures for Gabrovo and Gabrovo residents. Winner of the "Golden Aesop" Grand Prize from the 20th International Biennial of Humor and Satire in the Arts - Gabrovo (2011) and many others.
